Why Baptism?

Why Baptism?

Jesus said, “I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” We still believe Jesus’s promise, but so many, professing Christians included, are walking away from the church altogether. If we want to see Jesus’s church continue to thrive, we must remember the why behind the church’s importance. In this series, we explore six key elements of our weekly gathering and the necessary roles they play in our faith.

Reflection Questions:

  • In what ways have you settled for only some of God’s blessings in your life? What steps do you need to take to experience the fullness of God’s blessings?
  • ‌Have you experienced all three baptisms: salvation, water, and Holy Spirit? If not all three, what steps will you take to experience all three?
