Prayer

On behalf of Dan and Joy West
(CCA Missionaries to Portugal)

As for prayer requests, We have several that are very important for us.

Pray that we can soon relocate LIFE Church to a new location near the Oriente train/subway/bus station. Many come using public transportation. (we call this our 1 Kilometer vision) i.e. within 1 Km. of the station. Where we meet now is full.
Also pray for the discipleship and evangelism efforts of LIFE church, it is very international. Example, last Sunday we had 16 countries represented. Pray for continued unity and steady growth.
Also last week AGWM missionaries Ronnie and Rhonda Rice arrived to pick up the lead pastor positions. They have been gone 15 months raising funds. Pray for a smooth transition. We will still be here helping.
Pray for the economy here, several need employment.
Others who are recently saved are struggling in their spiritual growth, that they would keep their eyes on Jesus and keep in the Word.

Prayer Needs:
God’s grace and protection as we travel throughout Arizona and beyond.
Greater intimacy with Jesus and protection over our personal time with Him. Everything we have to give in ministry flows from our relationship with Christ.
Divine health and strength for both of us.
God’s wisdom and anointing as we minister to students and work with Chi Alpha leaders.
Effective communication and God’s grace as Holly and I work together in this new season of ministry.

Here are some specific ways that we would love prayer:
-Pray for our children (Zoe age 9, Joel age 7, and Silas age 3) as they start school on the 15th at a new school in our new town. Pray for kind teachers and pray that they make some good friends.
-Pray for us to build relationships we can pour into in our new town, Covilhã.
-Pray for us as we will start meeting university students soon. Pray for Portuguese young people who are ready and open to the gospel.
-Pray that we meet at least 3 key students each who we can disciple.

- I would like prayer for my stress and worry over my financial hardship. My ability to afford to pay both rent and groceries without worry.

- A friend of mine is asking for prayer over their ability to afford to go to school, and to find the right buyer to buy their car.

We have a few people coming into our home for Maddie’s therapy. We are asking that we would be a light to those who do not know Christ and an encouragement to those that do know Him.

That the Spirit would fall on our church in power and that we would be a people who grow in fruit that lasts.

Please pray for a young couple who lost their 2 month old baby this past Sunday.

Annette has hyperthyroidism and Theo has hypothyroidism. Prayers for healing for both.
