Paul’s letter to the Philippians is all about helping followers of Jesus have a gospel
perspective on life. In a world full of many different perspectives we need a proper God perspective more than ever. Our circumstances might not change, but with Jesus our perspective can.
Reflection Questions:
- When in conflict what do you tend to set your mind on? Do you set your mind on being right or do you set your mind on Jesus?
- What do you believe and know about Jesus? Is your response, your rejoicing reasonable for what you know about Jesus?
- What effect has the truth of Jesus’ return had on your life? Do you have an expectancy for Jesus’ return? How does that affect your prayer life, thought life and way of life?
- If you knew Jesus was coming back at 5PM tomorrow what would you do from now until then?
