Paul’s letter to the Philippians is all about helping followers of Jesus have a gospel
perspective on life. In a world full of many different perspectives we need a proper God perspective more than ever. Our circumstances might not change, but with Jesus our perspective can.
Reflection Questions:
- Are you living in a manner worthy of the gospel? How can you improve?
- Are we as a church standing side by side in one spirit with one mind for the faith of the gospel? How can we improve?
- Are we frightened by our opponents or are we keeping our nerve, not backing down? What does it look like to stand for Jesus and what Jesus stands for?
- What is the quality of your showing that you truly believe what you believe and say? Are we willing to move beyond just saying we believe and showing we believe through serving, to potentially suffering for what we believe when the time comes?
- What’s the pay off of our consistency, cooperation, confidence and conviction?
