The Gospel according to Luke is the longest and most thorough account of Jesus’ life that we have. A key attribute of this gospel is the way Jesus is portrayed interacting with people of all kinds of backgrounds and walks of life, and showing them that he’s come to seek and save the lost. Jesus truly is for everyone.
Reflection Questions:
- Who do you say Jesus is and does what you say and believe align with what he says about himself in scripture?
- In what ways have your thoughts of Jesus been slightly or way off and what did it look like to “correct your course”?
- When you look at your life does it look like what Jesus says in Luke 9:23-27–a life of self-denial? What needs to change?
- What transformation are you seeking in your life and how might beholding and following Jesus lead to that transformation?
