Jesus for Everyone: Beware Complacency

Jesus for Everyone: Beware Complacency

The Gospel according to Luke is the longest and most thorough account of Jesus’ life that we have. A key attribute of this gospel is the way Jesus is portrayed interacting with people of all kinds of backgrounds and walks of life, and showing them that he’s come to seek and save the lost. Jesus truly is for everyone.

Reflection Questions:

  • In what specific ways can you “keep your lamp burning” this Advent season to stay spiritually ready for Jesus’ return?
  • What distractions in your life might be pulling your focus away from being watchful for Christ, and how can you refocus on Him?
  • How can you use your time, talents, and resources this week to faithfully work for God’s kingdom?
  • If Jesus were to return today, what would He find you doing, and how does that inspire you to live differently?
