Jesus said, “I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” We still believe Jesus’s promise, but so many, professing Christians included, are walking away from the church altogether. If we want to see Jesus’s church continue to thrive, we must remember the why behind the church’s importance.
