Paul’s letter to the Philippians is all about helping followers of Jesus have a gospel
perspective on life. In a world full of many different perspectives we need a proper God perspective more than ever. Our circumstances might not change, but with Jesus our perspective can.
Reflection Questions:
- Who am I following, what draws me to them and why?
- What does it look like for me to weep over the brokenness of the world around me and am I willing to ask the Holy Spirit to move me to tears?
- Are there any areas of my life that are prone to give into my fleshly desires and appetite? How can I set my mind on the things of heaven?
- What does it look like for me to be a citizen and ambassador of heaven? What areas in my life need to be transformed from assimilation to allegiance to Christ?
