The Gospel according to Luke is the longest and most thorough account of Jesus’ life that we have. A key attribute of this gospel is the way Jesus is portrayed interacting with people of all kinds of backgrounds and walks of life, and showing them that he’s come to seek and save the lost. Jesus truly is for everyone.
Reflection Questions:
- How has your understanding of temptation changed after today’s message?
- How does it make you feel knowing that Jesus was tempted just as we are tempted?
- Reflecting on past experiences of temptation, when is it that you feel most tempted?
- What weapons (Holy Spirit, Holy Scriptures, knowing your enemy, beholding, holding out for a better reward) do you need to use more often in your fight against temptation?
