Jesus for Everyone: Teach Us to Pray (Part 2)

The Gospel according to Luke is the longest and most thorough account of Jesus’ life that we have. A key attribute of this gospel is the way Jesus is portrayed interacting with people of all kinds of backgrounds and walks of life, and showing them that he’s come to seek and save the lost. Jesus truly is for everyone.

Reflection Questions:

  • What steps can you take this week to foster a real relationship with Father God that will lead to an effectual and a life-giving prayer life?
  • In what ways can praying for “our daily bread” encourage you to think beyond your personal needs and consider the needs of others?
  • How has unforgiveness impacted your life, and how can you actively practice forgiving those who have wronged you?
  • When you pray for guidance away from temptation and protection from evil, are there specific areas in your life are you praying for? How can you proactively seek His help in those areas?
