The Gospel according to Luke is the longest and most thorough account of Jesus’ life that we have. A key attribute of this gospel is the way Jesus is portrayed interacting with people of all kinds of backgrounds and walks of life, and showing them that he’s come to seek and save the lost. Jesus truly is for everyone.
Reflection Questions:
- What would it look like for you to move from familiarity to fascination with God’s word?
- Come up with and share your plan for “the one,” that God showed you. Perhaps in growth group or small group or with a friend or your spouse. Ask them to partner with you.
- Are their any pockets of culture that have become a spectacle but you’re feeling led to pray for. Who are the people that seem like lost causes? What might God be asking you to do?
- What does it mean for you to “Go home and tell what God has done for you.”
