The Gospel according to Luke is the longest and most thorough account of Jesus’ life that we have. A key attribute of this gospel is the way Jesus is portrayed interacting with people of all kinds of backgrounds and walks of life, and showing them that he’s come to seek and save the lost. Jesus truly is for everyone.
Reflection Questions:
- In which areas of your life do you find it most challenging to prioritize Jesus above your own expectations, status, tribe, comfort, security, or past?
- How can you intentionally silence these distracting notifications to keep your focus on your relationship with Jesus?
- How can we actively embrace Jesus’ call to love and include those who are different from us?
- Are there any aspects of your past—whether regrets, habits, or comforts—that are holding you back from fully embracing the future God has for you? How can you let go of these to move forward with confidence and focus on what lies ahead?
