Jesus for Everyone: The Stronger Man

Jesus for Everyone: The Stronger Man

The Gospel according to Luke is the longest and most thorough account of Jesus’ life that we have. A key attribute of this gospel is the way Jesus is portrayed interacting with people of all kinds of backgrounds and walks of life, and showing them that he’s come to seek and save the lost. Jesus truly is for everyone.

Reflection Questions:

  • Which areas of your life feel like a battlefield right now, and how can aligning yourself more closely with Jesus—the stronger man—bring victory in those areas?
  • In what ways can we more actively obey God’s Word, rather than just hearing it? How does obedience help us gain the upper hand in spiritual battles?
  • Are there any “open doors or windows” in your life that might be allowing the enemy to influence you? How can you invite the Holy Spirit to take over those areas?
  • How can we encourage and support one another as a church family in our Growth Groups or daily lives to be both hearers and doers of the Word, especially when spiritual battles feel overwhelming?
