God is already on mission—and he invites us to join him.
In “Missio Dei,” Steve Lummer explores Acts 2:42–47 through three connected rhythms: the temple, the table, and the trail. We gather for worship and biblical teaching, grow through shared life and meaningful relationships, and go into everyday places to live and share the good news of Jesus.
Our mission field includes our neighborhoods, workplaces, and ordinary conversations. A shared meal, a listening ear, or a simple act of kindness can open the door to a conversation about faith. We don’t have to force results or carry the responsibility for changing hearts. We can love people faithfully, speak about Jesus with grace, and trust the Holy Spirit to work.
The temple equips us. The table connects us. The trail deploys us.
