Missions isn’t just something the church does—it’s an expression of God’s heart for people.
Continuing our Engage Missions Month, Brett and Holly Martin, Arizona Chi Alpha State Directors, share how encountering Jesus transforms the way we see and love others. Through the story of the ten lepers in Luke 17:11–19, we’re challenged to see people as Jesus sees them, step out in obedience even when it doesn’t make sense, and return to Him with gratitude and worship.
Drawing from their personal testimonies and CCA’s history, the Martins remind us that God’s mission begins with the people He’s already placed around us. As we draw closer to Jesus and are empowered by the Holy Spirit, His heart for the lost, hurting, and overlooked becomes our own.
