Information We Collect

We may collect information that you voluntarily provide when you interact with our website or ministries. This may include your name, email address, phone number, information submitted through contact or registration forms, prayer requests, ministry interests, event registrations, volunteer information, and other information you choose to provide.

Our website may also automatically collect limited technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, referring website, and similar information used to operate, secure, and understand the use of our website.

We only seek to collect information that is reasonably necessary for the ministry, administrative, communication, or technical purpose for which it is requested.

How We Use Your Information

Information submitted to Central City Assembly may be used to respond to questions or requests, provide pastoral or ministry follow-up, process event registrations, communicate information about church ministries and events, manage volunteers, administer our website, improve our online services, maintain appropriate church records, and protect the security of our website and systems.

We do not sell your personal information.

Contact Forms and Ministry Communication

When you contact Central City Assembly through our website, we may retain the information you provide so that our pastors, staff, or ministry leaders can respond appropriately.

Providing your contact information does not automatically enroll you in unrelated marketing communications. If you choose to receive church updates or other recurring communications, you may unsubscribe or ask us to stop sending them at any time.

Prayer Requests and Sensitive Information

If you submit a prayer request, pastoral-care request, or similar communication, you may choose to share information that is personal or sensitive.

Please only provide information that you are comfortable sharing with the appropriate pastors, staff members, or prayer leaders. We use this information for the ministry purpose for which it was provided and seek to handle sensitive communications with appropriate care and discretion.

Unless you specifically request otherwise, submitting a prayer request should not be understood as permission for us to publish it publicly.

Giving, Registrations, and Church Center

Some Central City Assembly functions, including giving, event registration, group participation, check-in, or other ministry services, may be provided through third-party platforms such as Planning Center and Church Center.

When you use one of these services, information may be collected directly by that provider and may also be made available to Central City Assembly for legitimate church administration and ministry purposes. Information handled directly by a third-party service is also subject to that provider’s privacy practices and terms.

Payment information submitted for online giving or other transactions is processed through the applicable payment provider. Central City Assembly does not intend to store complete credit or debit card information on our website.

Children’s Information

Central City Assembly provides ministries for children and families. Information needed for children’s ministry participation, registration, or check-in should be provided by a parent, guardian, or other authorized adult.

We do not intentionally use our general website to solicit personal information directly from young children without the involvement of a parent or guardian.

Parents or guardians who have questions about information relating to their child may contact us using the information below.

Cookies and Website Technology

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies that help the site function properly, remember preferences, maintain security, or provide information about how the website is being used.

Third-party services or embedded content may also place cookies or use similar technologies according to their own privacy policies.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of portions of the website.

Analytics

We may use website analytics or hosting statistics to better understand how visitors use our website. Analytics information may include information such as pages visited, approximate location, browser or device type, traffic sources, and other technical information.

We use this information to understand and improve the effectiveness, performance, and usability of our website.

Embedded Content and Third-Party Services

Pages on our website may contain or link to content provided by other services, such as YouTube, social media platforms, maps, Church Center, streaming services, or other websites.

Embedded content may behave similarly to content visited directly on the third party’s website. Those services may collect information about you, use cookies, or track your interaction with their content according to their own privacy policies.

Central City Assembly is not responsible for the privacy practices of websites or services operated by other organizations.

Who We Share Information With

We may share information with trusted service providers when necessary to operate our website or conduct church ministry. These may include website hosting providers, website plugins and technology providers, Planning Center or Church Center, email or communication providers, analytics services, payment processors, and other vendors that help us provide church-related services.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, respond to a lawful request, protect the safety or rights of an individual, or protect Central City Assembly and its systems.

Within CCA, access to personal information may be provided to pastors, staff members, ministry leaders, or authorized volunteers when that access is reasonably necessary for their responsibilities.

How Long We Keep Information

We retain personal information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected or as required for legitimate administrative, financial, ministry, legal, or recordkeeping purposes.

Different types of information may therefore be retained for different periods. For example, a simple website inquiry may no longer need to be retained after it has been resolved, while financial contribution records may need to be retained longer for accounting and recordkeeping purposes.

When information is no longer reasonably needed, we may delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it.

Your Choices and Rights

You may contact Central City Assembly if you would like to ask what personal information we maintain about you, request that inaccurate information be corrected, request deletion of information when appropriate, or ask us to stop certain communications.

Depending on where you live, applicable privacy laws may provide additional rights concerning your personal information.

Certain information may need to be retained despite a deletion request when we have a legitimate or legal reason to retain it, such as financial, security, or recordkeeping obligations.

How We Protect Information

We take reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure.

No website, computer system, or method of electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Breaches

If we become aware of a security incident involving personal information, we will take reasonable steps to investigate the incident, limit further unauthorized access, address the underlying issue, and provide notifications when required by applicable law.

Information Processed Outside Your Location

Some of the technology and service providers we use may process or store information in locations outside your state or country.

When applicable law requires special protections for international transfers of personal information, we rely on our service providers to use legally recognized safeguards appropriate to those transfers.

Automated Decision-Making

Central City Assembly does not use information collected through this website to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning individuals.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically as our website, ministries, technology, or legal obligations change. When we make significant changes, we will update the effective date shown at the top of this page.
