Chi Alpha

Chi Alpha

Chi Alpha is a student ministry on the UofA campus. Our Greek name comes from 2 Corinthians 5:20, where Paul calls us “Christou Apolostoi,” or Christ’s Ambassadors.

Chi Alpha is part of a national organization. There are over 300 XA groups in the USA and around the world. Our motto is ‘Reconciling students to Christ, transforming the university, the marketplace, and the world.’

Chi Alpha’s covering is the Assemblies of God. We believe in having accountability, covering, and an agreement of beliefs. However, our group welcomes and is made of students from all backgrounds and denominations.
