Talk About Video

Today we’re learning that God’s Word is true forever. But a lot of things in our world do change!

  • What are some things we use today that people in Bible times didn’t have?
  • What about things you use that your parents didn’t even have when they were kids?

We’re going to watch a video where a boy from Bible times and a boy from today compare their lives. Keep an eye out for any differences you wouldn’t have thought of!

  • What differences did the boys in our video discover that you wouldn’t have thought of?
  • Think about the things the modern boy named. Which are you most thankful for?
  • With everything that’s changed, why do you think the Bible is still true?

Our world seems to change faster and faster all the time. Even a phone from just a few years ago seems like an antique! But even in our ever-changing world, these boys found one thing that didn’t change—God’s Word. That’s because God’s Word is true forever. It applies to our lives no matter what else changes!
